01 — In an emergency
Always start
with 999.
If you, or someone near you, is in immediate danger, call 999. Tell the call handler you are on a bus or tram, the route number, and where you are. If you cannot speak, dial 999, then press 55 when prompted.
02 — What TellUs is
A quiet tap
for help.
TellUs sits inside the ticketing app you may already use. One tap sends an alert to the Operator Control Room — no call, no speaking. It is for the in-between moments, before something becomes a 999 emergency.
- 01

Discreet alert
Open your Operator's ticketing app and tap TellUs. No need to speak or be seen.
- 02

Seen at once
Your alert reaches the Operator Control Room in real time, tagged to your vehicle by GPS.
- 03

Engage & verify
The Operator views live on-bus CCTV to verify the situation and judge the right response.
- 04

Act & support
The Operator acts, engages Police where needed, and offers welfare follow-up.
03 — Does my Operator have it?
Check before
you travel.
TellUs is new to market in June 2026. Not every Operator offers it yet. Open your ticketing app and look for the TellUs option in the safety or help menu. If you cannot see it, your Operator does not yet offer it — the support below is for everyone, regardless.
Ask your Operator
You can ask your Operator or local Transport Authority to bring TellUs to your network. The more passengers ask, the faster it spreads.
